PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY

Claude Certified Architect Professional and applied AI systems builder with 15 years leading programs across education and operations, turning competing needs into clear plans and keeping people aligned as details change. My current AI practice is centered on redesigning how work is done with AI by helping people turn familiar responsibilities into clear workflows, review points, and guidance they can use day to day.

CORE STRENGTHS

• Instructional delivery, practical demonstrations, and coaching

• Self-paced AI learning design, practical examples, and guidance for finished work artifacts

• Audience calibration for different levels of familiarity and experience

• Workflow discovery, practical use cases, curriculum improvement, and feedback loops

• Plain-language technical translation, responsible use, source context, and human review

• RAG workflows, MCP-enabled tooling, structured prompts, and human-reviewed AI outputs

SELECTED AI WORK

The Practical AI Workbench | Self-paced AI learning platform

• Built six self-paced AI learning builds that guide learners to finish practical work artifacts: reusable prompt packs, context packets, a small Work OS, tool-routing maps, bounded agents, and reviewed workflow SOPs.

• Organized each build around choosing a work bottleneck, making an artifact, checking it against the Workbench Standard, and applying it to real work; the method works across AI platforms and includes downloadable materials.

PROVE Implementation Studio | AI implementation framework and app

• Built a framework and companion app for moving an AI use case from problem definition through workflow mapping, review design, practical testing, and implementation planning.

• Makes the decision points visible through source inputs, intended outcomes, permissions, failure handling, human review, and the evidence needed before a broader rollout.

Band Office | Open-source music-program operations platform

• Built and use an open-source platform that brings music-program communication, forms, events, inventory, records, and role-based access into one working system.

• Designed the roles, first-use guidance, and operating details around the people running a school music program so the system reduces friction instead of adding another layer of administration.

SELECTED LEADERSHIP & RECOGNITION

• Tennessee Teacher of the Month

• Teacher of the Year | Central High School

• Tennessee Agency Development Manager of the Year | Colonial Life

• GMEA District VII Chairman | 2020 - 2022

• Led music programs to nine consecutive years of superior ratings

GIG CITY AI

Founder / Applied AI Workflow Systems Lead | Gig City AI | Chattanooga, TN | March 2026 - Present

• Build working AI workflow systems and practical learning resources that turn recurring tasks into structured steps, guidance, and review points.

• Designed Gig City AI's service paths for owner-led teams, from practical AI learning and team practice to a scoped workflow fix or client-operations redesign.

• Developed The Practical AI Workbench as a self-paced learning platform and team-training offer built around reusable prompts, shared review habits, and real workflow examples.

• Developed a diagnostic for larger systems that maps handoffs, picks a practical measure such as response time, and identifies where a person must approve exceptions.

WEVISE

Head of Enablement (Volunteer) | Wevise | August 2026 - Present

• Supporting platform readiness, participant recruitment, and program coordination for a mentorship-program MVP.

• Creating Resource Hub structure, guidance, and coaching so mentors and mentees can prepare for and use their relationship.

• Planning mentor and mentee learning sessions, including session materials, usable prompts, and clear follow-up for questions that need staff support.

HAMILTON COUNTY SCHOOLS

Band Director | Hamilton County Department of Education | Soddy-Daisy, TN | July 2023 - July 2026

• Led a 100+ student program while coordinating administrators, teachers, families, assistants, vendors, and community stakeholders across overlapping schedules and deadlines.

• Designed learning materials, feedback routines, readiness checks, and differentiated guidance that helped varied audiences adopt new routines and improve through practice.

• Managed schedules, documentation, inventory, budgets, vendor relationships, event logistics, and day-to-day operations while resolving issues as they surfaced.

• Facilitated meetings, feedback cycles, and post-event reviews; used what worked and what failed to improve the next version of the program.

COLONIAL LIFE

Agency Development Manager | Colonial Life | Tennessee | 2022 - 2023

• Guided employers, business owners, and agents through benefits decisions by translating unfamiliar options, administration questions, and tradeoffs into clear next steps.

• Managed CRM-driven outreach, appointment setting, meeting preparation, follow-up, activity tracking, and pipeline visibility in a performance-driven business development environment.

• Coordinated onboarding and practical coaching for other agents, including conversation preparation, benefits education, follow-up discipline, and field execution.

• Recognized as Tennessee Agency Development Manager of the Year during a six-month tenure.

EARLIER EDUCATION ROLES

Band Director / Music Educator | Public and Private Schools | Tennessee and Georgia | July 2011 - June 2022

• Held teaching and program leadership roles across Hamilton County, TN; Walker County, GA; Clarke County, GA; and Athens Christian School, GA.

• Designed and delivered instruction, curriculum, learning materials, assessments, feedback systems, and readiness pathways across diverse communities.

• Managed budgets, vendors, inventory, scheduling, event logistics, documentation, deadlines, and public-facing program communication.
